This means you will have professional clinical experiences, but will not experience clinical rotations like you did when you went to school to become a nurse. Students who reside in the state of Tennessee will experience a more traditional clinical experience as part of their Community Health Nursing course.
Proficiency credits are a block of credits that encompass your diploma or associate degree in nursing and your professional experience as an RN. Upon acceptance into the RN to BSN option you will be awarded 77 proficiency credits for your nursing experience before you even begin the program and still have the option of transferring in additional coursework.
To learn more about proficiency credits, call an admission representative at 877.751.5783 or request more information.
